Carter launched Veris Insights (originally Ivy Research Council) with his co-founder John when they were sophomores at Princeton University. The work started broad, as Carter and John hired students on campus to aid in data and market research projects. But, after graduating in 2015, the firm centered on serving the country's top recruiting leaders in all their hardest work. Eight years later, Veris Insights has employed over 150 employees, served more than 30% of the Fortune 1000, collected millions of data points from candidates, employers, and other sources, and published thousands of studies and briefs on the largest issues in Talent Acquisition. The work is still in its early stages; Carter and the team could not be more excited about expanding the ways Veris Insights shapes the talent industry.
