Vanguard leveraged Veris Insights data to determine how they would utilize recruitment channels (careerservices, student organizations, and virtual). They also thought critically about who to send to campuses inorder to establish with students as early as possible that Vanguard can be an employer of choice.

Hosted Their First Latinx Explore Program
The Vanguard team hosted their first Latinx Explore Program in October 2021. One of the landmark sessions, Heritage as an Asset, was inspired by Veris Insights data. Hispanic and Latinx leaders at Vanguard shared how they have leveraged their identities to feel a sense of belonging and to maximize their abilities at work.

Vanguard’s investment in a long-term recruitment strategy has shown strong initial signs of success, as there has already been an increase in first and second year students who participated in the 2021 Explore Program applying for Vanguard’s North Star program, which is designed for students later in their academic careers.
